Richard Reynoso is recovering after 7 days in ICU due to ‘critical’ COVID-19: ‘Muntik na’
Richard Reynoso is recovering after staying for seven days at a hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU) due to “critical” COVID-19.
In a recent Facebook video, the singer said he was finally cleared for discharge last Sunday after over a week of suffering from the virus.
According to Richard, he was supposed to be intubated inside the ICU. Thankfully, his doctors found a way to avoid it because it had “slim chances of survival.”
“Grabe experience. Muntik na. My doctors came in at sabi hindi pala severe yung aking case. Prognosis was critical COVID-19,” he said while catching his breath.
“COVID is real. It sucks,” he added. “A simple activity like standing up from bed tapos pumunta ng banyo para mag-banyo, toothbrush, nakakahingal, kaya ingat po kayo.”
Richard said the disease was definitely something anyone wouldn’t want to experience, so he reminded everyone to stay safe.
“Ingat po kayong lahat. COVID-19 is still out there. ’Di pa po tayo ligtas so please be safe. Hindi niyo po gusto ’tong experience na ’to. Lalong-lalong ’di niyo po gusto ’yung gastos,” he added.
“This is a long healing process. Hopefully I’ll be able to get through this and then makakantahan ko na po kayo ulit,” he added with a smile.
He also thanked those who offered their family help, guidance, and prayers during their battle.
Days before being discharged, Richard shared on Instagram a photo of himself with tubes on his nose, and assured everyone that he’s doing better.
“I thank you all for praying for us. Your prayers did so much for my family because God spared me to still do the work He assigned me to do,” he said.
