Carmina Villaroel gets sweet birthday surprise from family before ECQ

It's Carmina Villarroel's birthday this August 17, but she was able to celebrate her special day with her family just before the lockdown.

In her latest vlog, the actress said she simply wanted to visit her dad before Metro Manila was placed under Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).

Instead, Carmina came home to a surprise advanced birthday bash planned by her sisters and brother-in-law.

The actress stood frozen by the door, while her daughter Cassy Legaspi, filmed the whole thing.

"Ako yung na-surprise," Carmina said. "So I'm just very thankful to my siblings kasi nga they surprised me in their own little way,"

Carmina also did an impromptu unboxing session after the party, where she gushed over some thoughtful and practical gifts like personalized towels and hand-knitted dish mats.
