Mikoy Morales receives dose of COVID-19 vaccine


Mikoy Morales received his dose of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccine.

On Sunday, Mikoy posted a photo of himself showing his proof of vaccination.

In the caption, he joked, "Side effect: namamaga," referring to his bicep muscles.

On a more serious note, Mikoy encouraged his followers to get their vaccine shots.

"Magpa-bakuna ka na, please? Huwag na nating patagalin pa 'to, utang na loob," he wrote.

("Get vaccinated, please? Let's not postpone this any longer, I beg you.")

As entertainment workers, the celebrities are part of the A4 category which includes the media and entertainment industry, delivery service riders, self-employed, and other laborers who have to go out for work.

Other celebrities and personalities who were vaccinated include Jessica Soho, Iya Villania, Drew Arellano, Maine Mendoza, Glaiza De Castro, Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera.

Previously, some netizens shared that Marian's vaccination helped convince some of their reluctant relatives to get the jab.
