Pia Wurtzbach embraces ‘cellulites, jiggles and all’ in striped bikini

Pia Wurtzbach is advocating for body positivity by embracing her body as it is in her recent Instagram post.

On Wednesday, the beauty queen shared a photo of herself wearing a striped bikini, showing her curves under the summer heat. 

“We’re more than a number on a scale, a filter on Instagram, or the opinion of other people,” she wrote, saying she was “a bit hesitant to post this pic.”

“I’ve been called so many names over the years, but you know what, this body has carried me through life, and I will honor it—cellulites, jiggles and all.”

According to Pia, it is best to “just shake off any negative comments.”

In the comments section, her boyfriend Jeremy Jauncey sent her a message of support: “You look beautiful to me,” he wrote with a kiss emoji.

Pia won Miss Universe in 2015 after she encouraged women to be “confidently beautiful with a heart.”

With the summer season now at its peak, it looks like beauty queens are motivating everyone to love the body that they’re in.
