Raymond Bagatsing recovers from COVID-19, shares what he did to get better

Raymond Bagatsing revealed that he has survived the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

On Instagram, the actor and model shared a photo of his negative result after recovering from COVID-19, and shared what he did to get better.

After thanking his followers for their well wishes and concern, the physically fit Raymond shared how he initially thought the diagnosis was a mistake. He felt strong, he said.

"Maybe weak sometimes from caloric deficit and daily IF ( fasting ), but I don’t feel sick at all. Or I thought so, anyway," he wrote.

But one week into his 2 week-quarantine, the 53-year-old actor said he felt "wheezing" in his lungs one week into his quarantine.

"Intuitionally, I incorporated cold-pressed malunggay to my daily diet. I still worked out heavily, but I ate more," he added.

"Then I read that moringga leaves strengthens weak lungs. I kept taking 1/4th cup daily with my protein and veggie shakes. I felt my lungs strengthen," he added.

"Moral of the story: from my experience, the psychological challenges far outweighs the virus itself or the result," he wrote.

"Try to overcome the mind’s anxiety and fears. Know that it’s just a natural reaction, but not the entire truth. Our minds are so powerful that it can manifest anything if it truly believes. More so if it’s a misdiagnosis," he added.

Raymond said, the "mind’s fear and negative reactions can make everything worse or better. It is a challenge, but one worth understanding."

"You are far more than the mind dictates. Aim to be still, relaxed and healthy. Reach out. Believe. Keep going," he added.
