Kelley Day tests negative for COVID-19–Miss Eco International

Kelley Day has tested negative for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), according to Miss Eco International.

As reported by PEP.ph, the pageant organization on Wednesday shared on its Instagram stories that the Miss Eco International first runner-up had tested negative, adding that she would be staying in Egypt due the lockdown in the Philippines. 

It also shared a photo of Kelley’s RT-PCR test, which showed a “negative” result.

Kelley represented the Philippines at the Miss Eco International beauty pageant, which was held in Egypt on April 5 (Philippine time).

During the course of the pageant, rumors reportedly circulated that some Miss Eco International candidates had contracted the disease.

Miss World Philippines earlier said it was working closely with the organizers of Miss Eco International to ensure the health and safety of the candidates. – RC, GMA News
