Glaiza De Castro reveals she tested positive for COVID-19

Glaiza De Castro revealed that she tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

In Nelson Canlas' report for "24 Oras," Thursday, Glaiza said her first RT-PCR test showed that she had the virus but she was asymptomatic.

"I monitored myself if I felt anything. None at all but I self-isolated in my condo for a few days until the lab allowed me to take another test," she said in Filipino.

Fortunately, her second test came back negative.

According to Glaiza, this experience made her realize the importance of monitoring oneself and staying at home especially when one tests positive—even without the symptoms.

On Wednesday, Rhian Ramos also revealed that she tested positive for COVID-19. —Franchesca Viernes/MGP, GMA News
