5 easy workouts to get rid of saggy arms
Are you hoping to tone your saggy arms this summer?
Good news: you can easily incorporate an easy upper body workout to your regular daily routine at home. These include arm exercises that require zero equipment, and will only take a few minutes of your time.
Fitness coach Paulyn Quiza demonstrated five of these workouts on "Unang Hirit," but remember: it's best to have a proper diet and a healthy lifestyle, as well.
1. Small arm circles. Stretch your arms out to each side and make small circles. You can do these in 30-second intervals, then reverse. Keep your back straight and stomach in.
2. Big arm circles. Stretch your arms out to each side and make large circles, then reverse. This will make you feel the burn in your arms without any weights.
3. Arm crossovers. Stretch your arms out to each side, then bend your elbows to cross your arms in front of your chest. Repeat this with the other arm on top of the other. Keep your back straight and stomach in, and you'll eventually feel the burn.
4. Body weight curls. Ball up your fists and squeeze tightly as you bring them up to your shoulders. Slowly lower your fists to your thighs, then repeat. Instead of weights, squeezing your fists and muscles as you do this will give your arms a good workout.
5. For triceps. Bend forward and stretch your arms backwards. Slowly bend your arms inward and backwards, then repeat. Don't forget to inhale and exhale while keeping your spine straight and your stomach in. —Margaret Claire Layug/JCB, GMA News
