Kylie Padilla flaunts post-baby figure with body-positive message for moms
Kylie Padilla took to social media to share an important message about body positivity.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the "Encantadia" star and mother of two proudly showed off her post-baby bod in a crop top and jeans.
Kylie said she is now "extremely proud" of where she is when it comes to accepting her body, but that wasn't always the case.
"As a woman in society, there is so much pressure to look perfect, whatever perfect means," she said.
"I know I'm not the only one who can say that in my history with my body there were so many unhealthy ways I tried to lose weight," she added. "Some were definitely self damaging."
She said being a mother reshaped her ideals and now she wants to set an example.
"It's not about being sexy," she said. "It's about discipline, knowing how to eat, when to eat and how much to eat depending on what your body needs."
"It's not about being hungry. Most of all, it's about patience and acceptance. It's about truly loving and respecting your body," she added.
Kylie, who tied the knot with Aljur Abrenica in 2018, gave birth to her first child Alas in August 2017 and welcomed another baby boy named Axl Romeo in December 2019.
