'My Korean Jagiya' star Alexander Lee opens up about not feeling ok

"My Korean Jagiya" star Alexander Lee just got real on Instagram, as he posted a photo of himself crying.

It was a two-photo post that opened with a full black image. Upon swiping, his followers will see a photo of himself crying. He accompanied his post with a caption written in full Korean, and on Instagram Stories, Alexander explained what it was all about in English.

"Sorry my new post is all in Korean... Basically I just wanna share about how tough and depressing the past months were for me. Like most people, I had a breakdown and even cried," he said.

Alexander wanted to let people know that they are not alone. "If you are having a hard time too, just let it out. Because it's OK to be NOT OK. If you want to cry, just cry."

"Release it. HOWEVER, make sure that you STAND UP AGAIN, MOVE ON, and be STRONGER. OK?" he added.

Alexander said people would only post their "most glamorous side" on social media.

"So today I'm not ashamed to post a bad side of myself.. a crying face," he said, adding he wanted to be honest about his reality and give comfort to everyone who are also having a hard time.

"Stay strong and let's go through this shitty time together. I can't guarantee 2021 will be good. But I promise you will be better in 2021. God bless you. Love ya'll," he ended his note.

His "My Korean Jagiya" leading lady Heart Evangelista replied on his Instagram post, saying "Awww, love you junho ... it’s gonna be ok ... I’ll talk to you more about that on the phone soon," she wrote in the comments section.

To which Alexander replied, " @iamhearte Salamat Gia~ ?? Yup! Stay safe meanwhile!"

Alexander is a former member of the K-Pop group U-KISS. He starred in a Korean Filipino drama on GMA-7 titled "My Korean Jagiya" with Heart in 2017.

It has recently returned to GMA Telebabad once again. Catch it from Monday to Thursday at 10 p.m.
