Michael V. shares realization after COVID-19 ordeal: ‘You are not in control’

Michael V. has shared his thoughts on his ordeal with the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

On “Quarantined with Howie Severino,” Bitoy said he had one realization: “You are not in control.”

He said “that it’s best to just be ready for anything, death included, as morbid as it may sound.”

The “Bubble Gang” mainstay, who recently recovered from COVID-19, learned that “you’re never in control of your life but you can do something about it.”

The Kapuso comedian said he was most thankful to frontliners, and just recently he showed his appreciation by featuring them in a fan art.

“Kaya ko ginawa ’yun, so para may passion nang kaunti, mayroong effort. Nakita ko kasi firsthand, eh,” he said.

“I felt bad for them na tingin ko more than us sila ’yung pinaka-makakahinga nang maluwag ’pag nagkaroon na ng vaccine,” he added. “At pagkahinga nila nang maluwag na ’yun, kailangan na naman nilang bumalik sa trabaho.”

Bitoy announced on his vlog in July that he tested positive for COVID-19.

He said he thought he might have contracted the disease from package deliveries.
