It's only been one week since Iya gave birth to her third child, Alana Lauren V. Arellano, her and Drew's first daughter but already her body has changed drastically.

Iya shared it's a combination of using a binder regularly, eating a good mix of nutritious food and "food that makes me happy," and breastfeeding 'round the clock.

According to Iya, she will begin working again this week, but will wait it out another week before really getting down to her regular routine. "Recovery is just as important and enjoying every minute of it," she reminds herself.

On the comments section of her post, many people have left positive comments, led by husband Drew, who said, "My hero" complete with a hearty eyes emoji.

Meanwhile, Kapuso host Lyn Ching thanked Iya for "letting people see what a mother’s body looks like after birth."

"Having a supermodel flat tummy after giving birth is just not realistic even for the fittest people. Women should give themselves a break from impossible expectations. You look amazing supermomma!" Lyn added.

More and more mothers are becoming open in their postpartum bodies, taking pride in them and proudly posting on Instagram, which, we feel is the right thing to do. Ushering another human being into the world is quite the feat, you know? — LA, GMA News
