Michael V assures public he’s getting better after testing positive for COVID-19
Michael V has assured the public that he is getting better since he tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
“I am getting better. Hindi pa rin 100% but I am getting better,” he told Nelson Canlas on “24 Oras” Wednesday.
According to the comedian, although he is slowly recovering, he still gets tired easily.
“Hindi naman ako nahirapan huminga. ’Yung pagod, ’yun medyo mabilis,” he said.
To help himself heal, Michael V said he followed the recommendations given by friends.
“Kahit anong advice ng kakilala namin tina-try namin. Wala naman mawawala,” he said. “Basta be active pero ’di sobra to the point na papagurin mo sarili mo.”
Finding out that he had the disease wasn’t easy for him, said Michael V.
“Mahirap talaga. Malungkot talaga,” he said in tears.
Because he needed to be isolated, he could see and wave at his family only from a small window in his room.
When reports of his positive test result came out, rumors that he passed away also circulated. Michael V said he thought it was a “bad joke.”
“Nakakainis, mine-message ako directly,” Michael V shared. “’Di ko alam kung sasagutin ko ng ghost emoji.”
However, he was still thankful for everyone who made him happy and offered support and prayers during one of the hardest times of his life. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
