Former Sexbomb member Jacque Estevez reveals COVID-19 battle
Former Sexbomb member Jacque Estevez revealed that she contracted the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) while on duty as a medical frontliner in California.
According to Nelson Canlas' report for "24 Oras," Jacque found out she was positive for the disease on April 1.
"'Yung lungs ko noon parang nagbi-build up. Natutulog ako nang nakaupo dahil pag nakahiga ako, parang nagbi-build up and hindi ako makahinga."
"Inuusog katawan ko," she added. "Chest ko parang may nagsta-stab na kutsilyo, parang ganoon."
Fortunately, Jacque eventually recovered from the disease. She advised everyone to stay cautious during these times and listen to experts and authorities.
She has been in the United States for more than a decade and has started her own family there.
On Monday, she reunited with her fellow Sexbomb girls after 13 years for a special online performance to raise funds for other COVID-19 frontliners. —Kaela Malig/MGP, GMA News
