UST expands free mental health services to accommodate more people
From initially catering to the mental health needs of medical frontliners, the Thomasian Mental Health Responders (MHR) of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Department of Psychology has expanded to accommodate just about anybody seeking mental health support.
Acknowledging that "these are difficult times for everyone," the MHR said in a Facebook post that they are "opening our services to those who are in need of mental health support."
Priority is still given to frontliners, as well as to PUMs, PUIs and COVID-19 positive patients, those quarantined and experiencing anxiety, those with pre-existing conditions, and those in mourning.
