Condo staff brought to tears as residents surprise them with cheers, applause
Janitors, pool attendants, and security guards working for a condominium in Mandaluyong City were brought to tears after residents surprised them with cheers and applause.
In Emil Sumangil's report for "24 Oras," the staff of 70 Tivoli Garden Residences were gathered around the swimming pool at dusk when the song "Heal Our Land" started playing.
From different parts of the condo buildings, over 6,000 residents came out on their balconies and loudly showed their gratitude.
They cheered, waved the Philippine flag, and brought out posters to salute the essential personnel who risk their lives to do their jobs amid the threat of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

In response to the touching gesture, the staff performed a dance number for everyone to enjoy and swore that they will uphold their duty as the country continues to fight against COVID-19.
