Here's how you can help stranded students in UP Los Baños

The University of the Philippines Los Baños has released guidelines for those who want to extend their help to the stranded students in the dorms.

In an advisory posted in its Facebook page, the university set the schedule and drop-off points for receiving in-kind donations.

Here's how you can help the students who could not go home due to the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon.

Food items, drinking water, personal hygiene items, laundry, dishwashing soap and common medicines may be dropped off at the UPLB Men's Dorm at any given time on March 18, Wednesday.

From March 19 onwards, in-kind donations may be dropped off at the UPLB Main Gate from 9 to 11 am, and 2 to 4 pm.

The university also released an advisory for those who are interested in giving financial aid for the affected students.

UPLB assured the public that all the donations "will be documented and accounted for."

The number of confirmed coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infections in the Philippines rose to 193, with six new cases reported by the Department of Health (DOH) on Wednesday.
