Here's how you can send help to Taal Volcano victims
Simple donations like bottled water, canned goods and extra clothing can mean the world to those displaced by the unrest of Taal Volcano.
Those who wish to lend a helping hand can course their donations through the GMA Kapuso Foundation (GMAKF).
The GMAKF office on the corner of Samar Avenue and GMA Network Drive in Quezon City is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. to accept donations.
According to Kapuso Foundation COO Rikki Escudero-Catibog in an interview with Super Radyo dzBB on Monday, displaced victims are in need of the following goods:
- Face masks
- Bigas
- Instant/cup noodles
- Canned goods (easy-open)
- 3-in-1 coffee sachets
- Biscuits
- Bottled water
- Towels
- Face towels
- Sleeping mats
- Blankets
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Soap (bath and laundry)
- Cleaning materials
For monetary donations, the Foundation accepts cash or check which can be personally delivered to the GMAKF office or deposited in its bank accounts listed here.
Those abroad may also transfer their donations through the Kapuso Foundation's online portal here.
