Huffington Post founder leaves site to create health & wellness startup
Arianna Huffington, the co-founder of the Huffington Post, is turning her attention in a new direction.
She announced on Twitter last week that she'll be stepping down as editor-in-chief of the news site to focus on running her new venture, health and wellness startup Thrive Global.

She said that the startup's mission will be to change the way people work and live "by ending the collective delusion that burnout is a necessary price for success."

Verizon Communications Inc owns the Huffington Post through AOL.
After Verizon bought AOL in June 2015, Huffington renewed her contract to stay on as the site's editor-in-chief and president through 2019.
But she said she "couldn't do justice to both companies."
