Margarita Fores's Cibo named among world's best artisan pizza chains this 2024 by 50 Top Pizza

Margarita Fores's Italian restaurant Cibo was named among the best artisan pizza chains in the world by 50 Top Pizza at the 50 Top World Artisan Pizza Chains 2024.

Cibo, which has 20 branches in several parts of the Philippines, ranked 44th on the list.

On Instagram Stories, Margarita said she was "in tears" upon hearing the good news.

"Mamma Mia! 44 in the world of Artisanal Pizza Chains," the Cibo founder and Asia's Best Female Chef of 2016 wrote.

The results of this year's 50 Top World Artisan Pizza Chains were presented in the World Pizza Summit 2024 during the European Pizza Show, which was held in London from November 26 to 27.

The Top 5 best artisan pizza chains in the world are the following: Spain's Grosso Napoletano, Italy's Da Michele, Europe's Big Mamma Group, Brazil's Braz Pizzaria, and Switzerland-United Arab Emirates's Luigia.

In August, Cibo celebrated its 27th anniversary.

Organized by the 50 Italy Group, the 50 Top Pizza issues lists of the best pizzerias in existence in Italy, Europe, United States, the APAC region, and a global list.

Aside from an establishment's pizza, the 50 Top Pizza Awards also considers service, environment, waiting time, wine, beer, and beverage among its criteria for judging pizzerias.
