Singapore's cult favorite bakery Tiong Bahru to open first store in BGC
Tiong Bahru, a well-loved Singapore-based French bakery, is set to open its first Philippine branch in Bonifacio Global City later this year.
On Instagram, Tiong Bahru gave a first look at where their first branch is going to be, with its boardup spotted at the ground floor of the One Maridien Tower in BGC.
"We're whipping up something big and bringing our famous buttery goods straight from Singapore!" the caption read.
Other details, including the exact opening date and full menu of Tiong Bahru in the Philippines, have yet to be revealed.
Founded in Singapore in 2012, Tiong Bahru is known for its flaky, buttery croissants, artisanal breads, rich coffee, and warm, welcoming vibe.
In 2023, Jollibee Foods Corporation forged a joint venture company with Singapore-based Food Collective Pte. Ltd. to bring and operate Tiong Bahru Bakery and Common Man Coffee Roasters in the Philippines.
