Xialongbao inspired by Asian cuisines? We're down for that
Asian-inspired Xiaolongbao? We're down for that.
Taiwan-born Xiaolongbao (XLB) chain Din Tai Fung is offering their two new XLB flavors inspired by Sichuan and Singaporean cuisines.
For a limited time starting on Wednesday, Din Tai Fung is set to offer Wagyu Mala XLB and Scallop and Prawn Laksa XLB.
Expect indulgent bites of Japanese Wagyu enhanced by Sichuan peppercorn, cinnamon, and star anise, not to mention wamrth and umami from the limited-edition Wagyu Mala offering.
The Scallop and Prawn Laksa meanwhile pays tribute to the aromatic flavors found in the Southeast region. A rich and layered broth, led with spicy sambal sauce and sweet coconut, is balanced by fresh scallops and prawns.
These new XLB flavors will come in 3-piece (P295) and 5-piece (P495) baskets, and will be available until Oct. 29 only.
