Want to taste the viral chocolate muffins from Paris Olympics? This local café offers an inspired version of them.
The recently concluded Paris Olympics didn’t only shed light on amazing athletes and medalists, but it also revealed a particular pastry in the Olympic Village that has become viral on TikTok, all thanks to Norwegian swimmer Henrik Christiansen.
The chocolate muffin's virality on social media drew curiosity among Olympians, which also garnered growing interest among viewers.
If you’re in Metro Manila, wonder no more, because Wildflour just created a dessert inspired by the Olympic chocolate muffin.
Wildflour’s Olympic Village Chocolate Muffin (P220) recipe is an upgraded version of the café’s existing chocolate muffin, with adjustments highlighting a more chocolatey and extra gooey texture.
“The addition of the Olympic Village Chocolate Muffins was inspired by the viral popularity of these treats during the 2024 Paris Olympics,” Wildflour CEO Ana Lorenzana De Ocampo told GMA News Online.
“We saw an opportunity to offer our customers a taste of this experience,” she added.

Initially, the restaurateur said they would only offer the Olympic Village Chocolate Muffins throughout August, but the demand has been skyrocketing in the past weeks, so it will be extended.
“People have really been looking for them in our stores, showing excitement in trying the muffins,” she said.
The Olympic Village Chocolate Muffin is available in Wildflour branches in Bonifacio Global City, Mall of Asia, Greenbelt, Uptown, and Quezon City.
