This donut shop introduces 3 new local flavors centered on mango, ube, coconut

Go loco for local!

American donut shop Krispy Kreme pays homage to Filipino flavors by introducing three new donuts centered on famous Pinoy produce, including mango, ube, and coconut.

This August, you may indulge yourself with familiar Pinoy flavors at Krispy Kreme through Ring-filled Toasted Coconut, Mango Caramel, and Ube White Chocolate.

The Ring-filled Toasted Coconut is a ring donut filled with coconut cream and caramel spread and topped with toasted salted coconut.

On the other hand, the Mango Caramel is a ring donut dipped in cheesecake icing, which is then topped with graham toffee bits, mango “kreme” icing, mango slices, and caramel drizzle.

Last but not least, the Ube White Chocolate is a ring donut dipped in ube white chocolate and drizzled with ube fudge and white chocolate.

Each donut is priced at P70, while a box of local favorite donuts retails for P449 for half a dozen and P969 for a dozen. —Hermes Joy Tunac/JCB, GMA Integrated News
