Margarita Forés's Italian resto turns 27, offers P27 pasta dishes this August

Chef Margarita Forés, Asia's Best Female Chef of 2016, is celebrating 27 years of her homegrown Italian joint, Cibo.

During the recent grand anniversary celebration, Margarita turned emotional over her restaurant's legacy.

"This makes me super emotional because 27 years is a long time," the Filipina chef said in her speech.

"I really just wanted to cook with you guys and share whatever I learned from Italy with the Philippines," she added. "Who would've thought it'd be able to grow this much in 27 years?"

Today, Cibo has grown into 20 branches in Metro Manila, Cebu, and Bacolod.

During the event, Margarita also presented the Cibo Rigatoni Cake (P1,225), which is perfect for special celebrations, even weddings!

To extend the celebration to Cibo patrons, the Italian restaurant announced some irresistible promos for the month of August.

On August 22, you can buy any pasta dish for only P27 for every purchase of Piatti di Marghi or any main dish in any Cibo branch nationwide.

On August 27, you may enjoy a 27% discount on all food delivery orders placed through Cibo's website and hotline.

Cibo has also partnered with Linya-Linya and Hydro Flask for limited-edition merchandise to celebrate its 27th anniversary.

In May, Margarita partnered with Ramen Ron, a ramen joint owned by her son Amado Forés, for a then-limited-edition Batchoy Ramen, which has now become a permanent dish on the menu due to popular demand.
