A Mano to collaborate with Toyo Eatery for Pinoy-inspired pizzas

A Mano and Toyo Eatery are cooking something up that foodies should not miss!

For A Mano's fifth anniversary, the homegrown Italian-inspired pizzeria is set to collaborate with award-winning Filipino restaurant Toyo Eatery for Pinoy-inspired pizza iterations.

On Instagram, the restaurants shared a joint post teaser, showing some ingredients like pineapple, eggplant, mushroom, and olive oil.

In the caption, A Mano teased, "What if pizza was invented in the Philippines? Find out on July 25th."

A Mano, owned by Amado Fores, the son of 2016 Asia's Best Female Chef Margarita Fores, is known for its traditional-leaning pizza cooked in its iconic red Valoriani oven.

In March, the A Mano ranked 12th in the 50 Top Pizza Awards by 50 Italy Group.

Meanwhile, Toyo Eatery clinched the 24th spot in Asia's 50 Best Restaurants for 2024 and has maintained its name as "The Best Restaurant in the Philippines."

Toyo Eatery, run by husband-and-wife team Jordy and May Navarra, was featured in the Netflix series "Chef's Uncut."
