First Tagaytay Food and Wine Festival happening this July

The first-ever Tagaytay Food and Wine Festival is fast approaching!

The Tagaytay Food and Wine Festival will be held this month and is set to kick off with a Grand Tasting on July 12, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Anya Resort Tagaytay.

The Grand Tasting will feature 11 chefs and 15 concepts, allowing attendees to get an exclusive preview on upcoming restaurants, new concepts, and beloved Tagaytay favorites.

The chefs participating in the event include Happy Ongpauco-Tiu of Pamana and Tsokolateria, Roby Goco of Elaia by Cyma, Rhea Castro-Sycip of Flour Pot, Chris Leaning of Anya Resort, Mona Duay of Reynaldo's Smokehouse, Dan Puga of Lula Cafe, Binggoy Remedios of Asador Dos Mestizos, Rachelle Platon of View Park Hotel, Aniela Tolentino of Papa Bolo and Binulo, Kalel Chan of Farmer's Table, Tristan Bayani of Ribchon, and Jayme Natividad of Taal Vista Hotel. The chefs will also be joined by the Slow Food Community Cavite.

Aside from the Grand Tasting, the Tagaytay Food and Wine Festival will also hold a Harvest Dinner on July 13 at The Fatted Calf; Luxe at 180 Degrees on July 20 at 180 by Chef Sau del Rosario; and a Heritage Buffet on July 21 at Veranda Restaurant, Taal Vista Hotel.

Meanwhile, a Creative Bulalo event will take place in September in Tagaytay Picnic Grove. Tickets to the Grand Tasting are priced at P3,950 each. For reservations, one may contact Rachelle Diaz at 0917 531 8949.
