Agriculture students in Pangasinan create galunggong with monggo shanghai

Two agriculture and agri-business students from Calasiao, Pangasinan came up with a twist to the Filipino favorite lumpiang shanghai!

According to Mav Gonzales's report on "24 Oras Weekend," Sunday, Ron Ric Domondon and Allen Angelo Repollo created a galunggong with monggo shanghai.

How to make it? Just mix onions, garlic, carrots, papaya, and monggo in shredded galunggong. Put them in the lumpia wrapper, roll them tight, and fry in oil.

"Masarap, medyo manamis-namis," Ron Ric said.

He and Allen also recommended backyard gardening to their fellow youth to get ingredients for healthy meals and to earn extra income.
