Laufey tries Filipino treats: 'You guys have the best snacks, I swear'

Laufey is in Manila for her sold-out concerts, and she made sure to try some classic Filipino snacks.

The singer-songwriter said on TikTok that she got some snacks to try out following some suggestions from fans, and then shared her reviews for each.

Laufey first had Ding Dong, which she said she’d tried before and called them “very flavorful mixed nuts.”

She also tried out polvoron, and was shocked when it easily crumbled in her hands. “Very buttery but in a good way.”

As for the dried mango, Laufey said, “I already know I’m gonna like this and you guys have the best mango,” she said, then did a giddy giggle afterward.

Laufey: A Night at the Symphony with the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra is happening on May 28 and 29 at the PICC Plenary Hall in Pasay City. Both shows are now sold out.

She is also set to return for a concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on September 2. Tickets are now available.

Laufey was previously in the country in 2023 for a concert at the Filinvest Tent in Muntinlupa City.

The artist is best known for the songs, “From the Start,” “Let You Break My Heart Again,” and “Valentine.” Her latest single, “Goddess” was released in March, and the album “Bewitched” dropped in 2023.
