Bretman Rock subtly claps back at Benny Blanco’s review of famous PH fast-food chain

Ever since Benny Blanco uploaded his Jollibee review on TikTok, Filipino netizens have been waiting for Bretman Rock to respond to it.

Well, it looks like the time is now.

The Fil-Am content creator took to TikTok to show a video a video of himself eating two pieces of Chicken Joy, displaying the chicken's crisp factor despite it being a leftover takeout.

In the comment section, netizens couldn't help but notice Bretman's lowkey clapback to Selena Gomez's boyfriend, who described the fried chicken as "soggy as f—."

"The shade at Benny Blanco," one wrote.

"Was waiting for this!" said another.

"Let them know. Jollibee is not something to mess with," another netizen said.

In 2019, Bretman uploaded a Jollibee mukbang video with his sister Princess on YouTube.

“I swear I always be featuring Jollibee in my videos like, ‘Where’s my free chicken?’” he said in the vlog. 

Last week, Bretman was honored by the Hawaii House of Representatives for his work in bringing positive attention to Hawaii and Filipino-Americans.

Bretman celebrated his eighth year in social media last January. He previously honored his past self, and said he is “proud of that little brown boy” and that his success “is all because of a little Filipino bakla.”
