Yunjin from LE SSERAFIM tries halo-halo for the first time!

Yunjin from LE SSERAFIM finally got to taste some Filipino food! 

On WeVerse Wednesday, Yunjin posted an update about trying halo-halo and Filipino fast food restaurant Jollibee.  

She earlier asked fans for Filipino food recommendations and later replied to her own post saying halo-halo has been on her bucket list for so long. 

It seems the Filipino cool treat is something of a must-try among Korean stars visiting the country.

In June, NCT's Jaehyun, Doyoung, and Jungwoo also had the chance to try out halo-halo after saying that they wanted to try the Filipino treat.

The same goes with Korean actor Kim Bum who feasted over the well-loved Filipino dessert during his stay in the country for his “Between U and Me” meeting last September. 

It's not a surprise. The late great Anthony Bourdain has given it enough air time on his various shows, and besides, Halo-halo has been included in TasteAtlas' Top 50 Best Frozen Desserts. 

Yunjin together with her fellow LE SSERAFIM members are among the Korean stars who landed at the Clark International Airport Wednesday, one day ahead of the Asia Artist Awards on Thursday, December 14 at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan. 

Aside from LE SSERAFIM, other K-pop groups such as NewJeans, ITZY, Stray Kids and The Boyz will also perform at the award show.
