Especially, when you're planning your office party, and the boss of your boss has confirmed, consider place where you can move hassle-free with all your plans for a delightful time.
That said, here are five restaurants and venues you can book for private functions and social gatherings, including that all-important office party — all within Metro Manila.

1. Tipple & Slaw Katip
The Pop-Up, Katipunan, Quezon City
Sunday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m./3 a.m.
Tipple & Slaw Katipunan offers the best of both worlds: a quiet area on the ground floor and a party haven on the second. You can reserve both for your private event.
The restaurant offers all sorts of liquor bottles, from wine, beer, tequila, whisky, rum, and more. It also provides bar chows, salads, sandwiches, pasta, rice bowls, and steaks.
The ground floor can accommodate up to 20 people, while the second floor can house 30 to 40 people, depending on the setup.

2. Neil's Kitchen
Westgate Center, Alabang
Tuesday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m./10 p.m.
For those who prefer a homey vibe, Neil's Kitchen is an ideal place for your party. It offers contemporary Filipino dishes such as Sinigang Paella with Grilled Pork Belly, Grilled Chicken & Crispy Pork Dinuguan Fondue, and Papaitan Pie, among others.
It has several rooms available for small and big private events, and they range from P12,000 to P60,000, all consumable.
3. The Frazzled Cook
78 Sct. Gandia St., Diliman, Quezon City
Sunday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
The Frazzled Cook may be located in Quezon City, but once you step inside the restaurant, you will instantly be transported to a hangout place similar to those in Italy. The best part? It offers all sorts of comfort food, starting from brunch selections like Hong Kong-style French toast, Beef Tenderloin Croissant up to Italian pizzas like Truffle, Tenderloin and Sausage, and many more.
Of course, a party is not a party without booze. The Frazzled Cook has a wide selection of liquors from beers, wines, and cocktails.
It has several rooms up for rent for private functions: The Puzzle room (P5,000) can accommodate a cozy party of six to eight people. Tthe Painters room (P7,500) is big enough for 10 to 12 guests. The Ming room (P9,500) is good for 13 to 16 pax, and the 20's (P17,500) for 17 to 20 people.
4. Bar Flora
F'7 Scout Rallos, Quezon City
Tuesday to Saturday, 6 p.m. until late
If you want to skip dinner and go straight to drinks, Bar Flora is the place to be.
A gin & tea cocktail bar in Queen City that opened just this year, Bar Flora offers a slew of tea-infused gin cocktails and mocktails and a selection of innovative bar chows that go well with your every sip.

5. Studio 300

This one is for all the competitive gamers out there!
The newly opened Studio 300 in Makati can shake things up in your Christmas gatherings this year with fun-filled games and sports offerings such as bowling, arcade games, and even football.
You don't have to worry about the food. If, in any case, you get hungry in the middle of all the games, Studio 300 offers different comfort foods, such as pasta, rice bowls, burgers, and more.
Drinks are also available at the studio's bar, such as bottled beers and other thirst quenchers.
