This halo-halo in La Union uses ice cream instead of shaved ice

Can’t get enough of the ice cream in your halo-halo?

Check out this store in Bauang, La Union! It uses ice cream instead of shaved ice for a full-on creamy treat! 

Because of the ice cream, the halo-halo no longer needs sugar and milk.

According to a report on “Unang Balita,” the store calls its concoction the Ice Cream Halo-Halo and it's their best-selling item on the menu.

Halo-halo has always been a hit among locals and foreign visitors alike.

In September, South Korean actor Kim Bum snapped a photo of his halo-halo during his Manila visit.

In June, NCT's Jaehyun, Doyoung, and Jungwoo also had the chance to try out halo-halo after saying that they wanted to try the Filipino treat.

Halo-halo is among TasteAtlas' Top 50 Best Frozen Desserts in the World.
