Would you try this viral P580 dessert?
If you've been online recently, you may have come across the viral P580 dessert cup that has been making rounds on social media.
Intrigued netizens couldn’t help but wonder: Is the trending strawberry-cheesecake-chocolate concoction from local dessert shop Fédici worth the price tag?
In an interview with GMA News Online, Fédici’s co-owner Angeline Roche said that it has been a month since they launched their Cup O’Berry Cheesecake, “and people have been discussing about its price points.”
“Probably too pricey for a cup of cheesecake,” she said, but then revealed that people who have tried the dessert “figured it’s worth it!”
“Strawberries from our local farmers use minimal to zero chemicals so they’re easily bruised and perished,” Angeline shared. “Kaya selecting palang takes super tagal na hours to make sure everything that gets into the cup is the best quality.”
They also use a signature blend of chocolate, and the cheesecake is from their very own premium cheesecake brand, Fédici.
Angeline said that the Cup O’Berry is “basically a dessert like no other. You don't always get to see strawberries, cheesecake, and chocolate in a cup!”
After receiving positive feedback from dessert lovers, Fédici’s owner made sure “to keep the engagements skyrocketing” by launching new Cup O’Berry cheesecake options.
Among the new flavors are white chocolate, dark chocolate, matcha, and Biscoff.
They usually sell up to 500 cups on weekends.
As of this writing, Fédici has already reached almost 400,000 likes on TikTok and over 70,000 followers on Instagram.
Fédici is accepting orders through their Instagram account. In two weeks, they will bring their dessert cups to SM Aura and Newport.
