This is Vanessa Hudgens's favorite Filipino food, according to her mom
Vanessa Hudgens has arrived in the Philippines to shoot a travel documentary!
As seen on Cata Tibayan's report on "24 Oras Weekend," Sunday, the "High School Musical" star is here to reconnect with her Filipino roots.
So what is Vanessa's favorite Filipino food?
"She likes pancit—anything that's no meat—so seafood, that would be great," said Vanessa's mom Gina, who joined her on the trip.
Gina and Vanessa's sister Stella are both involved in the documentary. Gina grew up in Mindanao before emigrating to the United States when she was 25 years old.
The travel documentary's director and producer Paul Soriano, who is also the Presidential Adviser for Creative Communications, plans to take them to Palawan and to landmarks in Manila.
"I've never been here. It's part of my heritage so it's about time to get to know myself a little bit better," Vanessa said during her arrival at the airport.
On Instagram Stories, she also posted a photo of the map of the Philippines and wrote, "We in this thing braaa."
