Want healthy love this Valentine's? Try giving vegetable bouquets
Want to give and receive healthy love this Valentine's Day? Try vegetable bouquets for a change.
As seen on Oscar Oida's "24 Oras" report Wednesday, the bouquet includes all things you need for a hearty meal such as onions, ampalaya, and puso ng saging.
According to Community Pantry PH co-founder Ana Patricia "Patreng" Non, their own version costs P1,500 and weighs almost five kilos.
Apart from giving your loved ones a healthy gift, you will also be supporting and helping local farmers.
"'Yung pag-support ng locals ay pagkamit din ng food security. Dapat supported 'yung mga [farmers]," she said.
"'Yung pag-share ng pagmamahal sa kapwa, 'yon 'yung para sa 'kin, ideal at healthy na pagmamahal, 'yung hindi lang nagtitinginan sa bawat isa't isa. May pagtingin din sa kapwa natin."
Vegetable bouquets are also available in Dangwa where customers have options on what to include.
"Puwede naman po kami mismo 'yung bumili or meron silang dala. Kami gagawa," said one seller.
Kapuso, there are only six days left before Valentine's Day!
