This new BGC resto transports you to Japan with its commuter train aesthetic
There’s a new Japanese restaurant in town, and it’s taking the experience to another level with its unique interiors and comforting dishes.
Located in Uptown Mall in Bonifacio Global City, Saigosan is a modern take on an Izakaya, serving burgers, chicken, donburi, and more.
With its unique design, walking inside the store transports you to a dreamlike Japan set in the middle of a commuter train and a ramen shop.
Under the helm of Chef Chris Orence, the restaurant offers all sorts of Japanese comfort food dishes, including a Sashimi Platter (P655), Ebi Tempura (P300-P390), and Spicy Salmon Roll (P280).
For burgers, the grilled teriyaki burger in brioche buns (P445) is a definite must-try. Meanwhile, the roast beef sukiyaki burger (P420) is for the ones who like something unique to the palate. But if you’re looking for something the kids will love, you can choose the Tori Teri Sando (P375) or Tori Katsu Sando (P375).
On the other hand, for ramen lovers, the Fried Chicken Ramen (P550) is a twist on a traditional dish that features a crispy chicken katsu served in miso-paitan broth.
