At this Podium deli, an extra large New York style Pastrami Sandwich aims to please and satisfy

As though New York style Pastrami sandwiches aren't delicious enough, in comes Deli by Chele turning it into a mega event.

The newly opened joint in Podium is offering an XL size of their famous sandwich. As in: Double the meat, double the portion.

Already a best-seller, Deli by Chele's NY Style Brisket Pastrami Sandwich is good as it is: Between wildly buttered and perfectly toasted Sourdough bread are slices of soft brined beef. The addition of pickled cucumbers and a generous slathering of mayo mustard ties everything together up a high notch. 

But the Pastrami XL features more the good pastrami beef for a heavy-hitting crowd pleaser. Satisfying and filling, the sandwich is a meal in itself, a delicious one that's meant to be shared, as a solo (P495) or as a regular (P990).

The Pastrami XL is just one of the many delightful sandwiches to be had at Deli by Chele Podium, the flagship store of the eatery that has been feeding plenty a hungry discerning mouths since it opened in 2020.

Its terrific line up of sandwiches also include the Reuben, Cubano, a Tiger Prawn roll, a Smoked Salmon, a Club even, and the new Cochinillo Hero: pulled pork pastrami tastefully wrapped in around garlic and honey coleslaw and hugged by brioche.

Apart from the Brisket Pastrami and the big brother XL variant, Deli by Chele also has a slew of other Pastrami sandwich offerings including a Pulled Pastrami Cheese Melt (starts P320), the Wagyu Pastrami Sandwich (P750), and the Triple Pastrami (starts P295).

Deli by Chele also has a couple of meal sets, a formidable dessert menu consisting of cookies, pies, and cakes, as well as cool list of beverages that features artisanal kombucha (P200), Iced Teas (P150), and a Red Wine Sangria (P280).

Deli by Chele is the brainchild of popular Spanish chef Chele Gonzalez and Chef Carlos Villaflor.
