Blackpink-inspired Oreo cookies are coming to the Philippines soon!
Heads up, BLINKS! There's a new Blackpink collectible heading your way!
In partnership with Oreo, the South Korean girl group is set to work on bespoke products and several activities and engagements in key cities in Asia in 2023, including the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and South Korea.
The collaboration will feature two distinctively Blackpink-inspired variants that will hit the shelves early next year for a limited time only. Aside from this, BLINKS may also look forward to unique Blackpink memorabilia from the collaboration.
"Over the last decade, we have seen the enormous rise of K-pop and its far-reaching influence on Asian culture," Oreo SEA and Indonesia marketing head Vikram Chandratrey said in a press release.
"BLACKPINK is at the forefront of this and is one of the biggest icons of the generation. We look forward to bringing millions of Oreo fans and BLINKs together to create moments of play," he added.
Just recently, Blackpink, composed of Jisoo, Rosé, Jennie, and Lisa, was hailed by TIME magazine as 2022’s Entertainer of The Year.
The Blackpink-Oreo collab will arrive in the Philippines in January 2023, following the release in Indonesia this December. —Hermes Tunac/JCB, GMA Integrated News
