Have you ever tried epalog? This Taytay treat is worth a shot

It's World Egg Day! Did you come prepared?

If not, "Unang Hirit" shared a recipe for "epalog."

Epalog is a treat that was made popular in Taytay, Rizal as far back as 1987.

June Zapanta, who owns an epalog business in the town, shared that its name originated from "hepa" — particularly the people's skin color when they have the medical condition.

The epalog is simply hard-boiled egg encased in a batter that's deep-fried to a golden crisp.

And according to host Love Anover, it's delicious!
