ArmyNavy says goodbye to LiberTea glass jars, introduces new fully recycled bottles

Who else here has one (or two) of ArmyNavy’s iconic LiberTea iced tea glass jars? Since the container is of good quality and pretty aesthetic, too, this writer repurposes it as her iced coffee jar at home!

Unfortunately, it’s the end of an era for ArmyNavy Burger + Burrito as the fast-food chain announces Wednesday that it is discontinuing the use of these well-loved jars.

On Facebook, the restaurant unveiled its new packaging for LiberTea—a fully recycled PET bottle.

“Get the same awesome taste you love in our freshly brewed LiberTea Iced Tea in the new easy handy and eco-friendly bottle!” said its  caption.

With the change of packaging, the price points of LiberTea also shifted. Initially, a 940 ml LiberTea which came in a glass bottle cost PHP120.

In its new eco-friendly bottle, the 500 ml iced tea is priced at PHP120, while a 1-liter drink now costs PHP200. – Hermes Joy Tunac/RC, GMA News
