McDonald's explains why medium, large, and BFF-sized french fries are MIA from their stores at the moment

If you've been wondering why you can't order large or even medium french fries at McDonald's, it's because those sizes off the menu — at least for the time being.

On social media Thursday, the fast food giant explained they've been affected, at least the supply of their beloved fries, by the "global freight crisis."

"The supply of our 'World famous fries' is limited because of the global freight crisis. That's why you haven't been seeing our fries in big, red fry boxes (medium, large, BFF)," McDonald's wrote in a statement.

It assured its patrons however that regular fries are still available in their locations for everybody to enjoy.

"We are working hard to bring back all sizes to you very soon," it added. — LA, GMA News
