Lola Nena’s famous triple cheese donut is now an ice cream too!

If there's one snack most Filipinos can't say no to, it's definitely ice cream—and now, Lola Nena's has taken the opportunity to turn their famous triple cheese donut into that summer favorite to satisfy your sweet tooth!

In partnership with Merry Moo, Lola Nena's introduces Triple Cheese Donut Ice Cream, a frozen, velvety makeover of its famous donut.

"Summer is here! And Lola has a surprise for you. In collaboration with Merry Moo, we bring you Lola Nena's Triple Cheese Donuts Ice Cream with real donut bits in that creamy heavenly goodness," Lola Nena's shared on Facebook.

Merry Moo's founder Kelvin Ngo said that to infuse the cheese donut's features into ice cream, they have to "[steep] Lola Nena's dough in Merry Moo's sweet cream base for more than 12 hours."

"We also mixed in pieces of their signature donut and cheesy chunks to add texture and give contrast to the creaminess of the ice cream," Kevin added.

Merry Moo is an ice cream company based in Laguna known for producing ice cream using non-ultra heat-treated dairy from local farms.

Since its introduction in 2012, Lola Nena's has been a famous merienda brand in the Philippines. The food brand has been recognized for its best-selling pichi-pichi and, of course, its unparalleled cheese donut.
