Ebi burger, K-Chicken burger, and more Japanese and Korean-inspired items make a comeback at McDonald's

Your favorite Japanese and Korean-inspired McDonald’s treats are making a comeback this March!

The “Flavors of Asia” promotions will feature Japanese and Korean inspired dishes on the McDo menu starting March 2.

There's the popular Ebi Burger, a tempura-coated shrimp patty paired with lettuce and tangy Thousand Island sauce going perfectly with the buns housed with sesame seeds. The seafood burger comes at a perfect time too; March 2 is Ash Wednesday or the beginning of Lent for practicing Christians.

There’s also the K-Chicken Burger, which boasts savory and spicy flavors. The hefty black bun it used to come in with is no longer but the crispy chicken fillet, topped with creamy cheddar cheese and a kimchi and gochugang dressing more than makes up for it.

Luckily, the Nori Shake Shake Fries and the sweet Honey Butter variant will be back at the same time for an A+ burger and fries pairing.

Still you gotta complete the experience, and as such McDonald's will also be putting the Strawberry Banana Sundae and the Matcha Sundae on the menu, too.

"Flavors of Asia" will be available for a limited time only, through -in, take out, ride-thru, or delivery. A medium meal is P195, while a small one is P175.

On March 1, you may also get an exclusive one-day early access to these goodies through the McDonald’s application, so be sure to be on the lookout! — LA, GMA News
