'Saweetie Meal': McDonald's USA introduces a meal after Filipino-American rapper
McDonald's USA introduced a meal after Filipino-American rapper Saweetie.
On the fastfood chain's USA website, they announced the collaboration with the female rapper, introducing the "Saweetie Meal," which they described as the "icy-est" summer collaboration yet.
The "Saweetie Meal" includes a Big Mac, 4-piece Chicken McNuggets with Saweetie 'N Sour and Tangy BBQ Sauces, medium Fries, a medium Sprite.
The 28-year-old Filipino-American rapper grew popular after the release of her debut single "Icy Girl" that later earned an RIAA platinum certification.
In a previous feature on MTV, Saweetie shared how much she appreciates her fans, especially those who like her are also Filipino.
"I think it’s dope when I see my fans at my shows holding the Filipino flag because it makes me proud that I'm makin’ them proud," she said.
Saweetie also revealed that her fans call her "Ate Icy."
