Treats from Australian retailer Woolworths now available in Philippine grocery stores
Ready-made pancake shakers, puff pastry sheets, and other tasty treats from Australia’s largest food retailer are now in select supermarkets and online grocery stores in the Philippines.
Robinsons Supermarket just sealed a partnership with Australian supermarket chain Woolworths, which means a selection of Australian honey, crackers, beverage, cereals, pancakes, salad dressings, sauces and pasta are exclusively available at Robinsons Supermarket, The Marketplace, and Shopwise.
Among the Woolworths products that landed in the country include its Original Pancake Shaker, unsweetened almond milk, ground coffee, turmeric latte, dried goji berries, mueslix bars, organic ice cream and more.
The new products will also be made available on Robinsons’ online platform, GoRobinsons.ph.
Robinsons and Woolworths officially announced their new partnership as the Philippines and Australia are celebrating the 75th Anniversary of diplomatic relations.
The online media launch on Wednesday was attended by Australian Ambassador to the Philippines Steven J. Robinson AO, who has been a proud Woolworths customer for several years.
“At last Filipinos will discover Woolworths' range of Australia’s quality products,” Ronsin said.
Woolworths is Australia’s largest food retailer and the No. 1 food and online grocery in the country with over 3,600 stores across Australia and New Zealand.
The Aussie brand prides itself for products made with no artificial colours or flavours, as well as constantly working towards reducing salt, sugar and saturated fats. —JCB, GMA News
