Chef Boy Logro to share fresh, healthy recipes on his YouTube channel straight from his farm
Chef Boy Logro will be sharing fresh recipes straight from his Davao de Oro farm on his YouTube channel soon.
According to Chef Boy, his farm is complete with all the fruits and vegetables that he could think of so it would be fun to use those for his vlogs. He added that he is currently preparing new recipes that doesn’t need cooking anymore.
“Gumagawa ako ng mga pagkain na ’di mo na kailangan lutuin gaya ng buko salad (at) calamares salad,” he said in an online interview.
“Ang bunga ng aking mga tinanim, ’yon ang mga aabangan nila gaya ng aking mga native chicken na sobrang lambot,” he added.
Motivated to share healthy recipes to his viewers, Chef Boy has also been living a healthy lifestyle which resulted in his weight loss.
“Napaka-healthy ko ngayon. Hindi ako nase-stress, ’di ako napapagod. Napakaganda ’pag nasa farm ka,” he said.
“Dati, kain ako nang kain (na) kung anu-ano but in my farm, more on fruits, more on saging. (Ang) dessert (ko ay) langka. Wala nang kasing sarap,” he added.
Chef Boy has been staying in Davao de Oro since the lockdown and according to him, he is happy because he is able to do the things he want.
“Ang dami kong nagagawa sa aking farm, manukan, fish pond and of course, ’yung aking mga tanim na sari-sari. Napakaganda pala. Do’n ko nagawa yung gusto kong gawin for how many years,” he said.
“Kapag sa farm ka, malaya ka, napakalawak ng farm, napakaganda po talaga,” he added.
As a farm owner, Chef Boy would describe himself as “hands-on” because he really makes an effort to do whatever he can.
“Umiikot ako, nagtatanim, [nag-aayos] para nang sa ganon, hindi ko mapapabayaan,” he said.
Although his show, “Idol sa Kusina,” is nearing its finale, Chef Boy assured his fans that he would still be sharing recipes with them.
For the meantime, he is just spending time with his family, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. – RC, GMA News
