'To All The Boys' star Lana Condor is 'obsessed' with lumpia
Lana Condor has joined the list of Hollywood celebrities who have developed a taste for lumpia.
In Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," the "To All The Boys" star shared how she had taken a liking to the popular Filipino dish.
"One of my closest friends from high school is Filipino. Her mom would always make lumpia just for her to take to school," Lana said.
"And so I became so obsessed that I would force my friend to force her mother to make me my own private batch," she added, laughing.
Her co-star, Ross Butler, was also introduced to lumpia the same way.
"I have a lot of Filipino friends. We get Filipino food up in San Francisco and I love it," he said. "Lumpia is one of my favorite Filipino foods."
The "To All The Boys" cast were supposed to visit the Philippines last year, but the fan meet was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Noah Centineo, who stars opposite Lana in the hit Netflix series, promised that he would love to come to Manila as soon as it's possible.
"This time that we're in will pass, assuredly it will pass," he said. "When it does, I will be in the Philippines. I cannot wait to meet all of you."
