Have you ever tried fishzza, or fish pizza? Here's how this chef makes it
Everyone loves pizza, but if you're up to broaden your horizons, there's such a thing called fishzza!
"Unang Hirit" on Friday dropped by the Shang-Tea restaurant to check out this interesting creation.
Roger Gabaldon, the chef behind the dish, shared that he used to be assigned at a pizza station abroad. He had the idea that once he returned to the Philippines, he'd try using fish instead of dough for the pizza crust.
So how does he make fish pizza, or fishzza?
Using a boneless bangus as a base, Gabaldon slathers it with a bit of fish sauce, followed by tomato sauce.
After seasoning the fish, he sprinkles different kinds of cheese, ground beef, and red bell pepper on top of it.
He then bakes it for 25 minutes at 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
Shang-Tea offers the fishzza in various flavors, such as Hawaiian, Barbecue, Mexican, Vegetarian, Hungarian, and Shawarma.
The prices range from P250 to P270. —JCB, GMA News
