To help you free some fridge space after the holidays, Chef Jose Sarasola shared an easy recipe for left-over pasta fritters on “Unang Hirit.”

These tasty snacks might just be the perfect merienda for kids, and they’re very easy to make.

First, you’ll need the following ingredients:

Leftover pasta
2 eggs
Breadcrumbs (3/4 cups)
Parsley
Parmesan cheese
Oil (2 tbsps.)
Salt
Pepper

1. Mixture. Cut up some cooked pasta into small pieces and place them in a bowl. Add two eggs, together with your parmesan, oil, a little bit of salt and pepper, and breadcrumbs for crunch.

2. Ball them up. Take a little bit of the mixture and ball up the pasta with your hands. Carefully lay them individually on a plate or flat surface so they can be ready to fry.

3. Fry. Make sure your oil is hot before popping in your fritters. Cook them for a couple of minutes on each side.

4. Dry. To make sure your fritters stay nice and crispy, let them cool down on a paper towel for a few minutes after frying.

5. Now for the fun part: Toppings. Once your fritters are ready, make them look extra-appetizing by sprinkling some parsley and a little bit more parmesan cheese on top.
